Henry's blankie
There are people who love knitting lacy stuff and I'm not one of them. This blanket, when finished, is going to be a true labor of love. I've had to rip it out about six times because I keep messing up the eyelet rows.
This afternoon it came to me that I should put markers where the eyelet stiches go. Duh! So I'll do that soon. Yep.
Bee and duck shoes
Go Cougs
Here's a sweater and hat set that's for my nephew, Henry, who's still cooking and due in October. I went to WSU, as did my brother, and my dad coached football there in the 70s, so we've got a bit of school pride.
My mom wanted me to knit this for Henry's "going home" outfit, but the gauge didn't work out--in fact, I think the hat is borderline adult size. But I'm so loving the Rowan wool-cotton! I wanted to use it to make a sweater for myself, but it's too pricy.
Anyway, Go Cougs!!
